Dental Services In Wales

EDM number 902 in 1994-95, proposed by Dafydd Wigley on 27/03/1995.

That this House notes with dismay the refusal of the Welsh Office to require regular formal returns by family health service authorities of those areas in Wales where there are no longer dentists providing a service on the NHS; further notes that in many parts of Wales it is now totally impossible to become registered with NHS dentists forcing people who cannot afford it to take out private dental insurance or to rely on ad-hoc and massively overstretched salaried dental emergency provision; and condemns Welsh Office ministers for their appalling complacency in the face of the worsening NHS dental crisis in Wales.

This motion has been signed by a total of 17 MPs.
