That this House expresses great concern at the misleading, inaccurate and incorrect statement made by the honourable Member for Sheffield, Brightside during the recent Opposition day debate on education funding, that Kent County Council, when Conservative in the 1970s, spent ú9 million of public money on an experimental voucher system for nursery education; notes that no such experiment took place; and urges the honourable Member to withdraw his statement on the floor of the House.
