Death Of Anreas Papandreou

That this House notes with sadness the death of Andreas Papandreou; respects his political geniusin founding PASOK, the Panhellenic Socialist Party, and his success in leading it to three election victories; sees in this the trust and confidence with the Greek people placed in his leadership; records with gratitude his recent diplomatic achievements in bringing stability to the troubled region of the southern Balkans; expresses its condolences to the Greek people for their loss of such a great and charismatic public figure; and mourns his passing.
