South West Rail Links
EDM number 1058 in 1995-96, proposed by Matthew Taylor on 26/06/1996.
That this House condemns the refusal of Ministers to supportthe inclusion of a high speed rail link from Penzance to London on the Trans European Network project; commiserates with the people of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset for whom this decision will be a great disappointment for social and economic reasons; and hopes that the efforts spearheaded by Robin Teverson MEP to secure the inclusion of the link will be rewarded in the near future.
This motion has been signed by a total of 6 MPs.
