EDM number 181 in 1995-96, proposed by Martin Redmond on 07/12/1995.

That this House notes with grave concern that the Secretary of State for Transport is indifferent to railway passenger safety and has indicated he is unwilling to require the Franchising Director to set maximum loading factors for all railway carriages.

This motion has been signed by a total of 29 MPs.
