Detective Chief Inspector Raymond Bennett

That this House notes that Detective Chief Inspector Raymond Bennett was one of five West Midlands police officers complained about by Mr Raymond Cummiskey who was charged with robbery; notes that Mr Cummiskey alleged fabrication and perjury; further notes that he was acquitted; and recalls that, as a detective sergeant, Mr Bennett, took part in the controversial interrogation of Mr Paddy Hill, one of six innocent men convicted of the Birmingham pub bombings.
