That this House expresses appreciation to the United Kingdom Prix Galien Awards for recognising the work of British scientists in the field of pharmaceutical research and development; and congratulates those people involved in the winning developments at Glaxo Wellcome and Roche Products UK who were honoured for their innovative work on lamotrigine, anti-epileptic drug, and saquinivir, Aids proteinase inhibitor.
