Regulation Of The Hairdressing Industry

EDM number 600 in 1995-96, proposed by Nick Harvey on 12/03/1996.

That this House notes the lack of regulation of the hairdressing industry; is deeply concerned at recent reports of badly injured customers; and welcomes the campaign by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and the Hairdressing Employers Association to press for statutory regulation to include a code of conduct and compulsory public liability insurance.

This motion has been signed by a total of 26 MPs.
