Ban On Landmines

EDM number 772 in 1995-96, proposed by Harry Greenway on 23/04/1996.

That this House, bearing in mind the huge loss of life and limb over many years from landmines, welcomes most warmly the decision by Her Majesty's Government to support the call for a world-wide ban on these evil weapons, including its decision to destroy a substantial part of its own stock in anticipation of the total destruction which it hopes to achieve.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
