That this House congratulates the directors, workforce and staff at N.S.K. Bearings Ltd on the twentieth anniversary of manufacturing in the town of Peterlee situated in the constituency of the honourable Member fo Easington; notes that N.S.K. Bearings Ltd has over 1,000 employees at the Peterlee complex which has four plants including two joint ventures; welcomes the continued investment in jobs, skills and modern plant; and congratulates Mr Arata who on 13th May received an honorary Doctorate of Civil Law from Durham University in recognition of his contribution to Anglo-Japanese relations and to the economy of the District of Easington and the County of Durham.
