Children On Television

EDM number 911 in 1995-96, proposed by Tony Banks on 20/05/1996.

That this House deplores Safeway's television advertising campaign featuring children aged under five years and using sexually suggestive, adult dubbed dialogue; believes such advertising techniques used regularly on British television amount to exploitation of children; and probably enthuse paedophiles more than they stimulate consumer demand.

This motion has been signed by a total of 26 MPs.
