Use Of Chequers, Chevening And Dorneywood

EDM number 505 in 1996-97, proposed by Paul Flynn on 11/02/1997.

That this House calls upon the Prime Minister to reveal the number of days he has spent at Chequers in the past five years and the Chancellor of the Exchequer to reveal how many days he has spent at Dorneywood; notes that the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs has revealed that he uses Chevening on only 20 days per year; and expresses anger at the Prime Minister's and Chancellor's dismissive answers to written questions in which they have refused to enlarge on their statements that the buildings are used regularly or on numerous occasions.

This motion has been signed by a total of 19 MPs.
