Allocation Of Mobile Phone Fund

EDM number 686 in 1999-00, proposed by Elfyn Llwyd on 03/05/2000.

That this House recognises that the level of economic activity varies from area to area within the United Kingdom; believes that the ú22 billion mobile phone fund secured from the Treasury should be used, where appropriate, for economic stimulation by means of capital investment in those areas suffering from economic under-performance; and calls on the Treasury to make ú1.1 billion of this fund available immediately to the National Assembly for Wales to invest in the Welsh economic and social infrastructure.

This motion has been signed by a total of 4 MPs.
