Sheep Welfare Payments To Scottish Farmers

EDM number 2116 in 2006-07, proposed by Angus MacNeil on 15/10/2007.

That this House calls on Scottish hon. Members of all parties to support the efforts to secure sheep welfare payments for Scottish farmers and crofters in light of the damage wrought by the foot and mouth outbreak in Surrey; and notes that the Scottish government is calling for a scheme similar to the one set up in the wake of the 2001 outbreak, recognising the reserved nature of responsibilities in this vital area.

This motion has been signed by a total of 5 MPs.
