That this House recognises the outstanding work of the Carolina House Trust, Dundee, in its bicentennial year; praises the work of this organisation as one of Scotland's oldest children's charities; further recognises the excellent services it provides to ensure the individual needs of children and young people are met and the positive and lasting difference this makes to their lives; and commends the establishment of its historic origin as Dundee Orphanage, whose founders included James Chalmers, the inventor of the adhesive postage stamp and James Keiller whose wife, Janet Keiller, is believed to have been the inventor of the first commercial brand of marmalade, also originating in Dundee.
