That this House congratulates Carrick Academy on securing a £9,940 Awards for All grant from the Big Lottery Fund; notes that the school will use these funds to replace equipment in its fitness suite, to purchase table tennis equipment and to secure training for three pupils to teach Zumba; recognises the importance of encouraging young people to exercise and lead healthy lifestyles; acknowledges the value of providing school-age children with skills training; and commends the work of Carrick Academy's staff in improving the health and wellbeing of their pupils.
