University Of Aberdeen Fees Guarantee To EU Students

That this House welcomes the comments from the Principal and Vice Chancellor of the University of Aberdeen, Professor Sir Ian Diamond, clearly stating the University's continued commitment to EU students; notes that he has offered assurances that the University will work with all concerned to ensure that the voice of the higher education sectors will be heard during Brexit negotiations; welcomes the Principal and Vice Chancellor's comments that there will be no change to the fee status of current EU students and those joining this year; further welcomes the Principal and Vice Chancellor's assurances that if there is any change during EU students' course of study, the University of Aberdeen will cover the cost of any tuition fees to allow them to complete their degree studies at Aberdeen.
