That this House congratulates the organisers of the St. Andrews Park Run for organising weekly five kilometre runs each Saturday in Craigtoun Country Park in North-East Fife; notes the wider park run movement event celebrated its twelfth anniversary on 1 and 2 October 2016, since when the event has been run 26,675 times; thanks the volunteers, organisers, contestants and the local townspeople of St. Andrews whose hard work makes these runs possible; applauds the organisers for keeping this event free for all members of the community to participate in, including children, the elderly, and the less-abled; commends the great effort this organisation makes in promoting health and fitness in the St. Andrews community and allowing townsfolk to engage in nature; and encourages all members of the community and visitors to partake in this wonderful event.
