That this House congratulates The Zone Initiative on gaining an award of £90,402 from Big Lottery Fund's Medium Grants Scotland; acknowledges the value of encouraging community pride and engagement within the village of Dalmellington; recognises the difficulties faced by communities to try and gain funding to bring communities together; and commends the Scottish Government and the Big Lottery Fund Scotland for their roles in ensuring money from dormant bank and building society accounts is redistributed to support projects like the Zone to benefit their communities.
