That this House congratulates the Ormlie Community Association Ltd on its recent grant of £112,494 from the Big Lottery Fund; notes that the Association is a friendly community based service aiming to help local residents and those living in the wider community by providing support for groups such as young people, children, young mothers and older people, in addition to providing a vital community hub where individuals can come together to relax and enjoy the company of others; recognises that the Association will use the funding to continue projects and activities directed at supporting the most vulnerable groups in the community; further recognises that the Association will also utilise the funding to maintain and develop its facilities that include a play area for younger children; and commends and congratulates all the staff and volunteers at the Association for their tireless hard work and continued community support.
