A Very Terry Christmas

EDM number 1699 in 2017-19, proposed by Martyn Day on 15/10/2018.
Categorised under the topics of Community care, Mental health and Voluntary organisations.

That this House commends the work of Toni Coates and local volunteers who are organising a free Christmas dinner in Grangemouth for those in need; notes that the event is in memory of Terry Bulmer who sadly committed suicide in March 2018; and further notes that the aim of A Very Terry Christmas is to ensure that anyone who may feel isolated or alone at Christmas has the opportunity to be around others and enjoy a Christmas meal; and recognises this fantastic example of community spirit and encourages local businesses and residents to support this project.
