That this House congratulates Lochend Community High School in Glasgow East on securing £10,000 in National Lottery Awards for Scotland Big Lottery Funding; notes that this funding will be used to buy a range of outdoor clothing and camping equipment which will enable pupils to undertake the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme; praises the school on taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme as it promotes volunteering, skills development and outdoor activities for young people; commends the school on allowing the pupils the opportunity to take part in this well respected programme; and looks forward to seeing the successful achievements of the pupils who take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme at the school.
