That this House joins with all other Parliaments throughout the Commonwealth in the observance of Commonwealth Day on Monday 13th March; warmly acknowledges the wide ethnic and social variety of the countries which have recently joined the Commonwealth; and takes pride in the activities of the United Kingdom Branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, comprising conferences, seminars and meetings in London as well as parliamentary visits to other Commonwealth countries, which manifest the mutual respect which is not only the ideal of the Commonwealth but its way of life.
