Free Eye Tests
EDM number 1248 in 1989-90, proposed by Jimmy Dunnachie on 09/07/1990.
That this House deplores that, because of the financial charge for eye testing, only one third of the number seeking eye tests in Scotland in 1988-89 did so in 1989-90; and asks the Government, as a matter of extreme urgency, to restore free eye testing for all National Health Service patients.
