Facilities Of The Palace Of Westminster

EDM number 1307 in 1989-90, proposed by Jeremy Corbyn on 18/07/1990.

That this House believes that the Palace of Westminster should be made fully accessible for people with disabilities; calls for a full study to be made of the necessary improvements to the entrances, toilets, telephone and refreshment facilities and the installation of induction loops where appropriate; and further believes that visitors to the Palace of Westminster should not have to suffer the indignity of waiting outside to be admitted, and being unable to get any refreshments without the presence of a Member.

This motion has been signed by a total of 24 MPs.
