That this House notes with concern that Mr Edward Reeve of Braintree, Essex, a manager of rented residential properties has been able to carry out a detailed check on the numbers of tenants residing in various premises who appear on the community charge register; believes that this breach of confidentiality should by drawn to the attention of the registration officer concerned; and calls for an explanation of how and why Mr Reeve was allowed access.
