Circumstances Of Deaths Of Service Personnel

That this House deplores the secrecy that invariably surrounds the Ministry of Defence's response to the death of a serviceman or woman; notes that on average at least one member of the armed forces dies on duty every week, and believes that bereaved families are entitled to the whole truth; and calls upon the Ministry of Defence to release to each family that requests it a copy of the full report of the board of inquiry, subject only to any restriction required by national security, with this to be decided by an independent person.
