That this House condemns the Daily Express and Evening Standard for acting on behalf of the Conservative Party in its pathetic effort to intimidate the BBC; notes that their reporters abused the open, honest co-operation of the honourable Member for Leyton's constituent, Mrs Flourou, who has been arbitrarily removed from the National Health Service varicose veins waiting list and who had been interviewed by the BBC; and notes the desperate lengths to which the Conservative press will resort to try to distort the truth.
