That this House notes that both Mr Jon Craig, correspondent of the Daily Express, and Mr Trevor Jones, Waltham Forest Health Authority General Manager, are telling a lie in the case of the honourable Member for Leyton's constituent Mrs Flourou, who has been arbitrarily removed from the National Health Service varicose veins waiting list,in saying that she did not respond to two letters inviting her for assessment in the day surgery; notes that Mrs Flourou is insistent that she received no such letters and that no treatment was offered; but notes that she received the Health Authority's standard letter removing her from the waiting list without any medical explanation.
