Liverpool Family Service Unit

EDM number 764 in 1991-92, proposed by Robert Parry on 26/02/1992.

That this House notes with alarm the possible closure of the Liverpool Family Service Unit through lack of funding; feels that such a serious step would affect those families in the greatest need; and calls upon the Government to assist voluntary bodies which provide this essential service, with particular reference to the inadequate financial support to help them implement the new Children Act.

This motion has been signed by a total of 31 MPs.
