Capping Of Warwickshire County Council
EDM number 133 in 1992-93, proposed by Mike O'Brien on 21/05/1992.
That this House recognises that Warwickshire County Council has had substantial cuts in services due to poll tax capping in the last year and that it has always been a local authority which was a low spender on education and other services; and therefore deplores the decision of the Secretary of State for the Environment to further cap the authority this year.
