Standish Hospital

That this House supports the SOS Action campaign in support of Standish Hospital, Stroud; notes that the campaign is supported by many organisations and thousands of people in Gloucestershire, recognises that Standish Hospital is a superb facility; opposes the short-sighted approach of the Gloucestershire Health Authority in proposing that the hospital should close; and calls on the health authority to abandon the closure proposals without delay.
