EDM number 1563A1 in 1992-93, proposed by Eddie Loyden on 11/03/1993.

leave out from '1995' to end and add 'recognises that the Government's reduction in funding of local authority spending on housing will have an adverse effect on the house building programme to provide housing for the homeless and inadequately housed families of local authorities; and reminds the Government that it was the local authorities during the inter-war years and the post-war period, supported by a Labour Government, that carried out successfully the most ambitious slum clearance programme in history and ended the misery for millions of families that suffered under deplorable conditions imposed by the slum-owning private landlords.'.

This is a ammendment to 1563.
