That this House congratulates warmly the Endangered Species Production's Theatre Company on its performance of the Sticks and Stones drama in the Grand Committee Room on Tuesday 23rd March; commends the actors, all former students of the Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff and Lyall Watson, the director, on providing such an outstanding example of how issue-based theatre can work by bringing to life in such a vivid and memorable way the trials and tribulations of the special needs children and their families in front of an appreciative audience of honourable Members; parents with a personal interest in this field and likewise professionals and theatre critics; commends the Spastics Society, Gwent County Council, the European Social Fund the Horizon Initiative and Mencap in Wales for their initiative in supporting this venture; and wishes the company well in its forthcoming tour of Spain.
