Conduct Of The Secretary Of State For National Heritage

EDM number 270 in 1992-93, proposed by Brian Wilson on 16/06/1992.

That this House draws the attention of the Secretary of State for National Heritage to the fact that his repeated use of the word `British' as synomymous with `English' in relation to hooliganism in Sweden is as foolish as it is inaccurate; and notes with concern that the Secretary of State's remarks could have serious implications for the other home countries in terms of European participation if taken at face value by the football authorities.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
