EALING TENANTS' RIGHTS

EDM number 296 in 1992-93, proposed by Clive Soley on 22/06/1992.

That this House notes with concern that Ealing Council is holding ú150,000 belonging to the Council's tenants and that since October 1990 they have refused to hand this money over to the Tenants' Resource Centre; and therefore calls upon the honourable Member for Ealing, Action, who is the current Housing Minister, to show his commitment to tenants' rights and the Citizen's Charter by confirming that the money should be released forthwith.
