Tsb Bank - Closure Of Moss Side Branch

EDM number 353 in 1992-93, proposed by Tony Lloyd on 25/06/1992.

That this House deplores the decision of the TSB Bank to close its Moss Side Branch; is conscious of the inconvenience and genuine difficulty this will cause to many people in the Moss Side area; recognises that this decision follows a pattern of withdrawals by banks from inner city areas, thus depriving those communities of a necessary part of the social and economic infrastructure; believes this decision is not helpful to local business or the regeneration of Moss Side; and calls upon TSB to think again.

This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
