Child Support Agency (No. 2)

That this House deplores the recent findings of the Civil and Public Service Association that staff at the Child Support Agency see no prospect of catching up on the backlog of work, that 84 per cent. consider that they are not providing a good service and 87 per cent. are unhappy with their job; and considers that the only option for the Government in these circumstances is a fundamental reform of the workings of the Agency, including greatly improved resources, so that it can achieve what should be its primary aim of improving the lives of children with absent parents.
