Fifty And Twenty Pound Notes

EDM number 1611 in 1993-94, proposed by Thomas Graham on 19/10/1994.

That this House calls on the Government to restore confidence to shops and businesses which are refusing to accept ú50 and ú20 notes due to the flood of forgeries taking place in the United Kingdom, as the refusal to accept these legal notes is causing terrible embarrassment to customers.

This motion has been signed by a total of 25 MPs.
