Jobs And The Environment

That this House welcomes the Friends of the Earth report on employment and sustainable development published on 24th November; notes that the report proves that environmental protection and jobs can go hand in hand; believes that there is an urgent needs for debate on the relationship between the environment and the economy; and calls on the Government to work towards a greener economy for Britain.
