Congratulations For The Humberside Police Force

That this House congratulates the Humberside Police Force for the successful conclusion of the Orchard Park siege, the longest of such recorded sieges in Britain; welcomes the fact that no person suffered physical injury; commends, with gratitude, the part played by the supporting emergency services; and congratulates the people living in the neighbourhood, especially Caldane, for their forebearance, good humour and support for the police over a trying period of tension and disruption to their everyday lives.
