Release Of Harry Wu

That this House deplores the arrest and continued detention by the Chinese communist authorities of Mr Harry Wu, whose investigative work revealing the extent of forced labour camps in China and their use by multinational companies for cheap prison labour as well as the execution of prisoners in order to sell their organs for transplant purposes has drawn the world's attention to the barbaric practices carried out under Chinese communist party supervision; notes that Mr Wu, having spent many years in the Chinese gulag, is now an American citizen; and urges the Government to join with the American authorities to press for his immediate release.
