Palace Of Westminster And French Nuclear Testing

EDM number 1451 in 1994-95, proposed by Matthew Taylor on 16/10/1995.

That this House condemns the decision of the French Government to resume nuclear testing in the South Pacific and their refusal to stop the test series; and calls on the House of Commons Catering Committee to express the anger of the British people by ending all purchases and sales of French wines and products within the Palace of Westminster until such time as the current programme of nuclear tests is halted.
