BBC Ceefax Service And Westminster

That this House deeply regrets the decision of the BBC to abolish the parliamentary pages on its otherwise valuable Ceefax television news service; further notes the severe reduction in newspaper reporting of parliamentary affairs; believes that the people have a right to be informed of the initiatives and decisions of their public representatives; and calls upon the BBC to reinstate the Ceefax parliamentary pages forthwith.
