HOLDEN'S BLACK COUNTRY BREWERIES

EDM number 359 in 1996-97, proposed by Ken Purchase on 17/12/1996.

That this House notes that the industrial dispute at Holden's Black Country Breweries is necessarily affecting licensees of Holden's premises although the licensees are in no way involved in the dispute; further notes that the company and the TGWU have hitherto enjoyed excellent relations; and calls on the company to re-instate the bottling plant workers in order that an honourable settlement can be reached and that Holden's customers can enjoy their superb range of Black Country beers in the true spirit of Christmas free from the tensions created by this regrettable dispute.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
