Tyne And Wear Museums

That this House congratulates Tyne and Wear Museum on its award of pre-eminent status by the Secretary of State for National Heritage; notes its special expertise in industrial history; and supports and encourages the work of Tyne and Wear Museums in promoting understanding of the vibrant history and culture of the North-East.
