leave out from 'osteopaths;' to end and add 'welcomes the passing of the Osteopaths Act 1993 and the Chiropractors Act 1994 which provide for registration of practitioners; notes that in certain respects these Acts provide a greater degree of regulation of the professions and greater protection for the public than would be provided under the Professions Supplementary to Medicine Act; and calls for a review of all relevant legislation concerning alternative and complementary therapies with a view to harmonisation based upon the principle of maximum public protection.'.
