That this House notes that 1999 marks the 125th anniversary of the Leigh Journal; congratulates it on its excellent coverage of news throughout Leigh, Atherton and Tyldesley; notes the valuable contribution it is making towards the millennium by maintaining its radical and reforming campaign for social justice; and wishes it every success for the next 125 years.
