HER MAJESTY'S OPPOSITION AND NORWAY'S POSITION IN EUROPE

EDM number 925 in 1998-99, proposed by Martin Salter on 20/10/1999.

That this House is deeply concerned at the apparent lack of detailed knowledge on the composition of the European Union as displayed by Her Majesty's Opposition at Prime Minister's questions on Wednesday 20th October; and reminds honourable Members that the 15 member states of the European Union are Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Greece, Austria, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Belgium and definitely not Norway.

This motion has been signed by a total of 17 MPs.
