leave out from 'House' to end and add 'looks forward to a visit from the real Mayors of towns in Northern Cyprus who have been elected by the people who actually live there; notes that ongoing efforts to find a settlement under UN auspices are based on the principle of bi-zonality, which does not admit a free return to their homes by Turkish Cypriots or Greek Cypriots, but instead envisages fair compensation to both sides for their losses; and calls upon HMG to encourage a confederal settlement under which the two peoples of Cyprus can live side by side, each secure in their own territory and dealing with the other, and with the world, on the basis of equality and mutual respect.'.
